Bass Clarinet Foundation In March 1955, Josef Horák performed the worlds first solo bass clarinet recital. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this great occasion the newly founded World Bass Clarinet Foundation is planning a 3 day bass clarinet convention from 21st-23rd October 2005 - the first event ever to focus solely on all aspects of bass clarinet performance. |
